Growing your own food is the biggest impact a household can have to transform the wasteful and harmful industrialised food system, to a healthy and sustainable one. An edible garden can provide organic food, natural medicines and increase mental wellbeing. Shop less, drive less and slash your plastic packaging, all while eating fresher, healthier food.
There’s no one ‘right way’ to be a good food grower and it doesn’t happen overnight. Greenbridge designs an edible or ecological garden that is specifically and creatively tailored to your needs and site. You can move forward with confidence, because the growing methods we show are tried and tested and sit within the bigger framework of regenerative practice. We offer varying levels of garden design depending on the amount of detail you require, your budget and how many garden options you wish to explore…
Greenbridge can also help you install your eco-garden

$2995 +GST Concept Design + $2995 +GST Developed Design
The basic lifestyle block plan is suited to those who would either like a bit of direction, desire to move quickly, and or are good at keeping to decisions. Once you are ready to go ahead, your ecological landscape designer will meet with you and further define your brief, often they will also do a basic site assessment at this time too. 1-2 concepts will then be generated (depending on your budget and needs), usually hand drawn for expediency and to keep cost as small as possible for you. You can stop there or continue to have the design developed into one Master Plan. The plan is juicy and imparts key information, such as location of infrastructure and plantings, fruit and nuts are described by type ie Apple, but you will need to make your own selection of varieties. We will provide you with a range of info sheets relevant to your project. The basic broad-scale plan not about pretty pictures or perfection but rather getting important information down on paper for you, so you can move forward with DYI confidence. There is also one hour complimentary mentoring included in this service.
$4995 +GST Concept Design + $4995 +GST Developed Design
The sustainable lifestyle block design is a step up from the basic service and great for people who want to consider their options and would like a bit more input and guidance from their designer. We spend more time assessing the site, researching and on idea generation, providing you with two concepts, so you can compare possibilities. This service also includes a base plan, observation map and sector analysis which shows the influences on your site. At the developed design end, we take your feedback, knit your ideas together, and you are presented with a final Master Layout Plan and or Planting Plan, specific to your wants and needs. This plan includes additional detailing; fruit and nuts are specified by variety ie Apple Liberty on MM106 rootstock. You are provided with written strategies and recommendations which covers how to implement your broard-scale design, specific to your site and vision. There is also complimentary two hours of mentoring included in this service.
$6745 +GST Concept Design + $6745 Developed Design
The regenerative lifestyle design is suited to people who want to ensure they choose the best solution for themselves and their site, require more detail and would like to be led through the process. You receive the same as the sustainable service plus more time is allowed for discussion, research and meetings so that we can be thorough in the process, with three concepts usually generated, so you can confidently know that a wide range of possibilities have been explored (this maybe important with a larger or difficult site or developing degraded pasture from scratch or where development options are open). A comprehensive site assessment is undertaken and we also include a solar map and written pros and cons of each concept. At the developed design end, we take your feedback and knit your ideas together to create a Preliminary Plan where there is opportunity for you and your landscape designer to undertake any final tweaks. You are then presented with a final Master Layout Plan and a separate Planting Plan and Specification and where applicable details specific to your project such as water systems or 3-D drawings. Key and detailed information is included around infrastructure, shelter design, access, food production areas, suitable fruit and nut trees matched to the correct site, animal integration and approaches for healing the landscape. More in-depth Strategies and Recommendations are provided for implementation. There is also three hours of complimentary mentoring included in this service.
